![]() ![]() ![]() otoh, keeping the pk3 files and deleting the sounds folders, the soundtracks still worked. when I tried to delete the pk3 files because I thought they were redundant with the ogg files in the sounds/cdtracks folders, it defaulted back to the NIN soundtrack. the other mission pack will have music for the first demo properlyĪfter a bit more testing, I found out that this worked for me with some hipnotic_music and rogue_music pk3 files I got from the quakeone forums. note that the first armagon demo still won't have music after you do this, but the second one will and when you start the game it will. well, if you just do the same thing with armagon - listen.bat, it will start working. I assume if you've got Armagon running in Darkplaces, then that means you've already renamed darkplaces.exe to winquake and then edited the armagon.bat to put in winquake instead of glquake. I figured out how to fix this but I'm not entirely sure why it worked. Is there a way to arrange the files so that the mission pack plays its own soundtrack? Then I run darkplaces with the extension -game hipnotic to play the mission pack, which works fine, only it plays the original NIN soundtrack. This app has been retired and is no longer available on the Steam store. Mission pack soundtrack: Quake/hipnotic/music/track2.ogg etc. Quake Mission Pack 1: Scourge of Armagon Steam charts, data, update history.
